  • 5 whole Russet Potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • Black Pepper


  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Wash the potatoes and cut into slices about 1/4 inch thick, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  • Mince garlic, and add to a small sauce pan with olive oil and salt. Brush butter mixture over potatoes, and pepper as desired. Place in the oven, baking for 45 minutes until outer edges are a crispy golden brown.
