Creamy Oatmeal

Who ever said oatmeal is icky has not learned how to make it well!

There is no need to eat oatmeal that is the consistency of glue, (unless you want to that is!) These creamy oats are packed with flavor, nutrition and will keep you full for hours!

One thing to note is theĀ gluten-free label. Pure oats are naturally gluten-free and safe for most people with gluten intolerance. However, oats are often contaminated with gluten because they may be processed in the same facilities as gluten-containing grains like wheat, rye, and barley. While this isn’t a concern for most people, some with celiac and other auto-immune diseases are not able to handle even trace amounts.

Be sure to review packaging if this is a concern to you to make sure your oats were processed in a gluten free environment.

  • 1 cup Almond Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 3/4 cup Oats
  • 1/2 cup Blueberries
  • 1/2 cup Strawberries
  • 1/2 cup Almonds chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Honey


  • Add almond milk and vanilla extract to a medium saucepan and bring to a low boil. Add oats and cook about 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Before taking it off the heat, add the chia seeds and give it a stir. Place it in a bowl and stir in the nuts and berries. Drizzle with hone and enjoy!
